At Cornell:
Spyke was one of the best all-around jumpers in Cornell History with personal bests of 6'9.75" in the high jump, 24'5" in the long jump, and 49'3" in the triple jump. He won individual Heptagonal Championships indoors in the high jump ('03) and long jump ('04). In 2004 he also took the outdoor long jump title. An injury to his ankle before his junior year limited his time in the high jump during his last two seasons at Cornell.
